20 years of experience within the IT industry encompassing Resource Management, Resource Solutions and IT Recruitment has established Jenny’s expertise.

As the creator of Jenny Barbour & Associates Pty Ltd; an IT recruitment company that has a single focus ‘to raise the benchmark for IT recruitment within Australia’ Jenny is determinedly addressing her passion ‘The cost of Human Capital’ and more importantly ‘The cost of getting IT wrong’.

In January 1997 Jenny co-founded the Women are IT (WIT) network with the vision to create an organisation providing a framework upon which women in Information Technology could extend their network and expand their knowledge in an environment that encourages open conversation and debate.  She believes that the creation of the WIT network has provided a structured framework now reaching a greater breadth of women in ICT.  Jenny Barbour has an established background creating awareness within the industry and education sectors alike in an attempt to address the rapidly advancing ICT skills shortage within Australia.
