Gender equality and full inclusion - Panel discussion
“Nobody is equal until everybody is equal.
It is time that we all see gender as a spectrum instead of two sets of opposing ideals”
ref: Emma Watson; Friday 15 April 2016
Equality in the workplace means that all employees are treated equally for status, rights and opportunities and are free from discrimination. Diversity in the workplace means the company actively includes people from a variety of backgrounds and reflects this attitude in its hiring policies and workplace culture.
Whilst two thirds of Australian CEOs and senior executives agree that gender equality is needed, often directors and executives questioned cannot describe why it is they think that gender equality is needed.
Is progress fast enough? What can we learn from industry leaders? Where do we need to double our efforts?
Join an important discussion that shares different perspectives that work to deliver environments
of true gender equality and full inclusion.
